Teaching & Student Work

Teaching, for me, starts with remembering what it feels like to be a student, carrying doubts, deadlines, and pressures not always visible on the surface.
I try to build classrooms where students feel supported, where empathy is as important as skill, and where their voices matter.
My approach balances technical training with curiosity and exploration, encouraging students to refine their craft while connecting their identities and lived experiences to design. I hope they leave not only with stronger skills, but with confidence in their perspective and the belief that their work can create connection, empathy, and change.
