One of the beautiful Iranian traditions is the Hanabandan ceremony, which takes place before marriage (somewhat similar to Bachelor Party), which, of course, some changes has been made throughout the years. In this ceremony, the bride's hands are decorated with henna which smells very good. These traditions that are being forgotten are really beautiful and valuable; like a gift that connects us to the previous generations. I made a collage with an embroidered bag of traditional henna from Yazd City with folklore poems that are sung in southern Iran.
