Printed and Embroidered on Fabric
It has always seemed somewhat bizarre to me that, when you carry a normal life, water your plants, invite your friends over for dinner, and suddenly with a signature , that simple and ordinary life of yours turns upside down. After imposing sanctions against Iran, the value of the dollar raised from 35000 Rials to 200,000 over the course of a few weeks. A terrible inflation hit the country and every day you woke up and you saw that you are poor a few times more than the last weeks. Many companies were disbanded and employees were dismissed; I was one of them. This is a self-poster that I designed for these days. I made a collage out of pieces of newspaper classifieds which contains the terrible price of the rent, my wasted passport, charts and news of the newspapers and the leaflets of my birth certificate. I composed a typography of the words "compensation of youth" under it in Thuluth, because I think these images and scrap papers were somewhat the compensation for the youth of a few million people.
